The Péter et al. paper (JCEM 2012, 97(2):400-407) is featured in the 2012 Yearbook of Endocrinology. The reviewers state that the data look promising, showing a growth response and safety profile comparable to daily rhGH.

The 2012 Yearbook of Paediatric Endocrinology, released at the meeting, features a review of the Péter et al. 2012 paper “Three-year efficacy and safety of LB03002, a once-weekly sustained-release growth hormone (GH) preparation, in prepubertal children with GH deficiency” from the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism (97:400-407) on the BPLG-003 study. The reviewers state that the data look promising, showing a growth response and safety profile comparable to daily rhGH but that the overall number of patients treated is small and follow-up limited to only 3 years. They conclude that data on adult height and long-term safety are needed.
